Soloeil Dafrik presents WOEDOUPE "The Place of Dance",  a project to enhance the capacity of young professional Togolian dancers. Supported by the #STUDIO_WOEDOUPÉ in collaboration with the association @soloeildafrik , the project "WOEDOUPE" aims to organize quarterly training workshops for young Togolese dancers.

 For the first "WOEDOUPE" workshop, Soloeil Dafrik invites American choreographer Valerie Green, Artistic Director of Dance Entropy who has developed a choreographic practice focused on the exploration of our internal states, our life experiences, our joys, our struggles and our curiosities. She creates explorations of movement that carefully deepen the cognitive and physical questions of everyone, including perception of self/identity, dislocation, culture, history, education and ideology.

The workshop will take place from August 21 to September 2, 2023
